3/1993

Opening of Wo Lok Community Health Centre (WLCHC)

Located in Wo Lok Estate, WLCHC was established to replace the old YTCHC and KTCHC.

4/1993

Establishment of Good Neighbour Centre

With the subsidy from the Community Chest of Hong Kong, the Hospital Chaplaincy of UCH transferred the 'Good Neighbour Programme' to KTCHP in April 1993 and found for it an office in the SMP Extension Centre. The programme became 'Good Neighbour Centre'.

1994

Formation of Nethersole Community Health Service

From 1994, 'Nethersole Community Health Service', another ancestor of UCN, started to provide similar kind of primary health service in Tai Po.
 

2/1994

Opening of Bradbury Kwong Tin Community Health Centre (BKTCHC)

Located in Kwong Tin Estate, BKTCHC was established to replace the old LTCHC.

4/1997

Formation of United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCN) and took over the Fu Heng Community Health Centre (FHCHC)

Kwun Tong Community Health Project' and 'Nethersole Community Health Service' merged on 1 April 1997 and renamed as 'United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCN)'. In the same year, UCN took over the management of Fu Heng Community Health Centre (FHCHC) from 'Nethersole Community Health Service'.

Introduction of Community Nutrition Service and Individual Diet Counseling Service

Extension of WLCHC

With the subvention from HK Jockey Club, WLCHC was extended to include the lower ground floor.
 

12/1997

Opening of Jordan Health Centre (JDHC)

 

3/1998

Running a medical and dental clinic in the Tai Po campus of HKIED

The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIED) offered UCN a contract to run a medical and dental clinic in their Tai Po campus. Through the Institute's network, UCN built up h3er connections with schools in Hong Kong. HKIED Health Centre has completed its historic mission with its operation till June 2011.

11/1998

Introduction of Home Help Service

The service was started in Tai Po and it covered meal delivery, personal hygiene, home cleaning and escort service.
 

6/2000

Lei Yue Mun Day Care Centre for the Elderly started its operation

8/2000

Launching of Health Promoting Schools Project

The Pilot "Health Promoting Schools Project", initiated in collaboration with Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital, aimed at promoting the practice of healthy lifestyle in schools.

2001

Establishment of Good Neighbour Network

With the Community Chest's subvention, Good Neighbour Centre was renamed as "Good Neighbour Network" in 2001.
 

6/2001

Opening of Kwong Fuk Community Health Centre (KFCHC)

Funded by CWM/Nethersole Fund, KFCHC was in operation in June 2001
